God’s judgment is perfect—right, good, and inescapable.

- Cultural Misconceptions Addressed: - Some claim God has lost the right to judge (criticisms from atheism, misunderstandings of Old Testament actions).

- Others believe God won’t judge them because their sins aren’t “big” or serious. - Scriptural Focus: - Romans 2:1-16, where Paul addresses those who presume they are exempt from God’s judgment. - Three Reasons God’s Judgment is Perfect:

1. God is not blind: - He sees hearts and intentions, not just outward actions. - Hypocrisy and self-righteousness are exposed. - God’s kindness is meant to lead to repentance.

2. God is not biased: - He judges impartially, based on deeds, not identity or heritage. - Both Jews and Gentiles are judged by the same standard.

3. God is not blameworthy: - He has given both Law (special revelation) and conscience (natural revelation). - Judgment is fair, whether by Law or conscience. - No one can fully keep the Law; only Christ’s obedience justifies.

- Conclusion/Application: - The only way to stand before God’s judgment is through repentance and faith in Jesus.

- Unbelievers are urged to seek peace with God through Christ.

- Believers are encouraged to practice honesty and daily repentance.

- Final Recap: - Everyone will face God’s judgment. - Through Christ, we can stand justified and need not be condemned.
