In Romans 11:1–15, Paul explains that God has not rejected Israel but is faithfully working out a gracious redemptive plan. God has preserved a remnant of believing Jews by grace, even when it is difficult to see or feel His work. Israel’s temporary hardening has allowed the gospel to go to the Gentiles, which God will ultimately use to bring Israel back to Himself. This “plot twist” in salvation history reveals God’s sovereignty, mercy, and faithfulness, calling believers to praise His grace, pray for Israel, and boldly proclaim the gospel.
