Practice Stewardship

In Philippians 4:10–20, Paul thanks the Philippians for partnering with him and points them to God as the true Provider. The message’s big idea is that God trusts you with His stuff, so disciples should treat every provision as an opportunity for faithful stewardship—not just of money, but of the whole life God entrusts to us. Practically, we steward God’s provision by pursuing contentment in Him (vv. 10–13), sharing fellowship in the community of Christ (vv. 14–16), recognizing the spiritual blessing/fruit God produces through generosity (vv. 17–18a), and practicing worship by giving and receiving to God’s glory (vv. 18b–20).
