Serve Others

The sermon “Serve others” (1 Peter 4:8–11) calls disciples to serve one another faithfully amid hardship, trusting God’s design and gifting for the church. Big idea: Disciples serve using God’s supply - service is empowered by God, not sustained by self-effort. Core practices of disciple-service: Love one another earnestly (love that “covers” rather than exposes or retaliates). Practice hospitality without grumbling - treat others like family with cheerful sacrifice. Steward spiritual gifts responsibly - use what God entrusted for others’ good, depending on His strength. Goal: All serving and gifting should glorify God, not the servant - service is meant to spotlight Him.
